1934 House of David Vintage Ballcap by EBBETS FIELD
The House of David was a minor league baseball team resulting from the collision of religion and sport. The group was originally a Christian commune founded in 1903 by Benjamin Franklin Purnell. Baesball became a recreational outlet for the group in 1914 and by 1917, the House of David was a travelling ball club known not only for their surprising skill, but for their unique look. The team featured players sporting epic beards and as unique a site as that was, the team's fitted cap was just as special. Done in a style similar to vintage Cincinnati Reds caps, the House of David fitted features both a red trim around the entirety of the navy fitted along with a navy wool trim around the cap's red brim. This is the first time Ebbets is offering this style of cap and fans can purchase this piece now from this link right here.
