Along with opening new Flagship locations, NEW ERA is increasing the amount of exclusive in-store product releases. Pictured here is one of their latest, titled simply The Fur series. This two pack of 59Fifty fitted caps features an imitation Mink fabric using the NBA Chicago Bulls and the NHL Los Angeles Kings. Keeping consistant with the dark tone, the team logos are embroidered in a combination of Black and Grey.
The adjective Faux (pronounced foe) is a French word, from Old French “fals”, which means not genuine or real; being an imitation of the genuine article. Faux fur, also called fake fur, is made of synthetic fibers. Invented in 1929, the material has been endorsed by animal rights groups as a cruelty free alternative to traditional hide.
TRIVIA: The late American Cartoonist, Theodore “Ted” W. Drake, designed the iconic Bulls logo in 1966. A natural talent, with no formal artistic training, the Indiana native is best remembered for creating the Notre Dame Leprachaun.
The crown, button and top bill are made of 100% polyester. The under bill is in a matching Black cotton. Both of these fitted caps are available in a size range of 7 to 8, only at New Era North America Flagship stores.
