San Bernardino Cucuys 59Fifty Fitted Cap by New Era x MiLB
The Inland Empire 66ers are back again as the San Bernardino Cucuys with a new 59fifty fitted cap this season. For those non-latino, El Cucuy is a mythical ghost-like creature, the equivalent of the boogeyman, which is very prominent within Hispanic culture. If you grew up in a Hispanics household I'm sure your parents told you children stories of El Cucuy to encourage you to always do the right thing, even when no one is watching, because El Cucuy will always know. By taking on the Cucuy identity, the Inland 66ers are providing a fun and festive atmosphere for families to come together and reminisce about the stories they were told as children. Do forget to attend a game and watch the 66ers take the field as the “San Bernardino Cucuys” to instill the same fear against the rest of the California League during the “Copa de la Diversión” event series. While the cucuy has never been seen, the shadowy ghost-monster with an alleged glow-in-the-dark face will be proudly worn by the team on-field this season, striking fear into all opponents.
