Shoe Gallery
Shoe Gallery has a long history rooted in Miami’s culture. Founder Abram Waserstein fled Cuba’s dictator, Fidel Castro, leaving his shoe business behind to start fresh in Miami. In 1979, he used his sharp buying skills and deep understanding of what customers wanted to open Shoe Gallery in Downtown Miami.
By 1985, his son Jaime Waserstein joined the business, expanding its brand selection and catering to the wave of Caribbean shoppers looking for exclusive styles from brands like Clark’s, Kangol, Travel Fox, and Bally. His vision helped shape Shoe Gallery into a trusted name for high-quality fashion.
In 2000, Jaime’s son Danny Waserstein entered the family business, taking Shoe Gallery to the next level. He transformed it into a one-stop shop for the best footwear, apparel, fitted hats, and accessories in the industry. Today, Shoe Gallery is a leader in Miami’s streetwear scene, carrying exclusive fitted hat releases, limited-edition collaborations, and must-have lifestyle fashion.
