The Clink Room goes for another music-inspired hat design for one of their latest pieces, the Tape Eaters 59Fifty Fitted Cap. Conceptualized by Clinker Layne, the inspiration goes back to the ’90s when a boombox eats a cassette tape. He credits the line “never put me in your box if your sh*t eats tapes” from the Nas song “New York State of Mind” for the idea, which was then executed by Clinker Aurélien for the black/white/gray/brown front embroidery of this cap. The dome and uppervisor are in black, while the undervisor is in brown. On the left panel is the New Era Flag, and at the back is a brown The Clink Room logo.
